Professional Leave

The district will approve leave for attendance at professional development meetings of value to the district’s

programs provided that applications for attendance are approved by the superintendent or his designee. With

appropriate approval the district will pay for the cost of a substitute and other expenses incurred because of the

employee’s attendance.

IEA delegate assemblies and IEA state committee meetings called by the IEA will be allowed with the district paying

the cost of substitute only.
