The District may offer a Driver Training Education Program when staffing and funding are available. Any such

program will be conducted in compliance with all requirements in the Idaho Standards for Public School Driver

Anyone residing in the District between the ages of fourteen and one-half (14 1/2) through twenty-one (21) years

of age, irrespective or whether they are enrolled in the district, are eligible to enroll in the District’s drivers training

program. Such program, in the discretion of the Board, may be conducted after school hours, on Saturdays or

during regular school vacation periods. The District may offer a joint driver training program with other districts.

The purpose of the program is to introduce students to a course of study that leads to the eventual development

of skills appropriate for a licensed driver. The traffic education program is designed to meet the criteria
