Outside Employment
The district will allow employees to seek outside employment that does not interfere with the employee’s
performance, duties or responsibilities. Employees are expected to maintain their primary obligation to the school
district. Outside employment cannot infringe on the school day, nor interfere with the effectiveness of work at the
district.
Activities outside the regular employment may not, in their nature, constitute a real or apparent conflict of
interest. This shall apply whether the outside activity or service is voluntary or remunerated.
