What is Dual Immersion?
Dual Immersion is a program that offers a rich bilingual experience for young learners when their minds are developmentally best able to acquire a second language. Instruction is divided between two high quality, creative classrooms: one English and one in Spanish.  Jerome Schools has a 2-way Spanish Dual Language Immersion program that started in 2016 with Kindergarten and 1st grade and has expanded by a grade level each year.  In 2020, 5th grade will be added and will continue expansion into the Middle School (2021) and High School (2024).  The mission of the JSD DLI program is for participants to become highly bi-literate, bi-cultural, and bi-lingual members of society.
