Jerome Middle School students are raising money to help fund their American Heritage Trip in March 2017. They will be visiting many important monuments and sights in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and New York City to learn more about the history of our country. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these students. We hope you can support them by buying a dozen freshly made cinnamon rolls for $10.
Please e-mail ann.showers@jeromeschools> to place your order. You will be able to pick up your cinnamon rolls at the Jerome Middle School on Friday, October 28 from 12 to 6pm. Thank you for your support!
Delta Dental will be at Jerome Middle School offering Free Dental Sealants for all 7th and 8th graders. The Sealants will be offered starting on October 25. If you would like to have your 7th or 8th grader receive this free service, please pick up a paper in the office to sign and return.
Jerome Middle school has been awarded a grant of $15,000 by the Snapdragon Book Foundation. The grant is being used to fund the school’s “Genre Challenge Literacy Initiative.” This initiative encourages students to read more and explore new book genres. The students will be provided with a tracker that lists the fifteen genre areas and will be challenged to check off each area over the course of a school year. Incentives and prizes will be provided when students reach milestones.Read more: JMS Library Receives Grant
